Terms & Conditions.
The contract for using The Boys Trip Guide, including Full Trip, refunds, content and complaints.
Operator and contract
The Boys Trip Guide is operated by Storystone Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16922351. Registered office: Cuffley Hill, Goffs Oak, Waltham Cross, EN7 5HB, England. Email: contact@theboystripguide.com.
These terms form the agreement between Storystone Ltd and each person using the service. The organiser who purchases Full Trip is the customer for that purchase.
1. Eligibility and agreement
The service is for people aged 18 or over. By creating or joining a trip, you confirm that you are at least 18 and agree to these terms. Do not invite anyone under 18. If we reasonably believe an account is being used by a child, we may restrict it while we investigate.
2. What the service does
The Boys Trip Guide is a private trip-planning and sharing service. It helps an organiser and invited group keep plans, costs, invitations, reminders, documents, photos and videos together. It is not a travel agent, tour operator, booking provider, insurer, bank or money-transfer service.
3. Organisers and invited members
The organiser controls the trip and invitations and must enter accurate information, invite only intended members and remove access that is no longer appropriate. Members must keep access links and codes private. Information entered by users must be checked against the original booking or provider before anyone relies on it.
4. Free Trip
Free Trip has no purchase price and provides the planning features shown in the product at the time of use. We may improve or change free features, or withdraw the free service on reasonable notice where practicable.
5. Full Trip
Full Trip is a £24.99 one-off purchase for one trip. There is no recurring charge. It includes the Coach and the lads character-message system, richer prompts, shared photo and video uploads, the Hidden Gallery and up to 20 GB of media storage for 12 months from activation. The checkout page shows the total price before payment.
Full Trip is not permanent archive storage. Media becomes eligible for removal after the 12-month media period. Download anything you want to keep before that period ends.
6. Ordering and payment
Payment is handled by Stripe. A contract for Full Trip is formed when payment is accepted and we confirm access. We send a purchase confirmation to the email used at checkout. It records the product, price, legal version, immediate-access request, cancellation information and operator details.
7. Immediate access, cancellation and refunds
Full Trip is activated immediately because the purchaser expressly requests immediate access at checkout. The purchaser also acknowledges that, where applicable, the statutory cancellation right for digital content may be lost once supply begins.
Storystone Ltd does not provide a separate contractual 14-day change-of-mind refund guarantee once supply has begun. Any statutory cancellation right that remains will be honoured in accordance with applicable UK consumer law. Statutory rights and remedies for services or digital content that are faulty, not as described, unavailable or not supplied with reasonable care and skill remain unaffected. Full details and the request method are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
8. Your content and permission to operate the service
You retain ownership of content you upload. You give Storystone Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, resize, display and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure and support the service and comply with law. The licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup cycles and legal retention.
You must have the right to upload the content and, where appropriate, the permission of people shown or identified in it. Do not upload passwords, full card details, passport scans or unnecessary highly sensitive information.
9. Prohibited content and conduct
Do not upload, share or use the service for unlawful content or activity, including child sexual abuse material, grooming, terrorism, threats, stalking, hate offences, fraud, intimate-image abuse, cyberflashing, extreme pornography, sexual exploitation, unlawful drug activity, malicious files, copyright infringement or attempts to compromise the service.
We may inspect reported content, preserve evidence, restrict access, remove content, suspend accounts and notify law enforcement or regulators where reasonably necessary. Reporting and appeal details are on our Safety and Complaints page.
10. Privacy and browser storage
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is used. Our Cookie Policy explains essential cookies and similar storage.
11. Shared costs
Cost splits, balances and payment-status entries are organisational records entered by users. We do not hold or transfer money between trip members and do not guarantee that a recorded member-to-member payment occurred.
12. Travel remains your responsibility
You remain responsible for passports, visas, insurance, entry and health requirements, bookings, provider terms, payment deadlines, safety decisions and local law. Important travel information must be checked with the relevant provider and must not depend on one reminder or message.
13. Availability and changes
We use reasonable care and skill but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, security incidents and third-party failures may affect availability. If we permanently discontinue a paid feature during its stated period, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a proportionate refund.
14. Suspension, closure and export
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law or enforce these terms. We will explain the decision where lawful and practicable and provide a route to complain or appeal. Before closing a trip or requesting a refund, download content you wish to retain.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach. We are not responsible for third-party travel providers, user-entered inaccuracies, events outside our reasonable control or business losses arising from consumer use.
16. Intellectual property
The service software, branding, site design, copy, character system and original product materials belong to Storystone Ltd or its licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights.
17. Complaints
Send complaints through the Contact page or to contact@theboystripguide.com. Include the trip name, account email and a clear description. Safety and content complaints follow the process on the Safety and Complaints page.
18. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory local rights and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
19. Changes and contact
We may update these terms for legal, security or product reasons. Material changes will be notified where reasonably possible and will not remove accrued rights. Questions: contact@theboystripguide.com or write to Storystone Ltd at the registered office above.
